First-ever Peel food and beverage producer guide to launch in early 2021

Currently being compiled, the Peel Food and Beverage Capability Guide is an online portal, the aim of which is to promote food and beverage products unique to the Peel region of Western Australia.

The new guide will help to promote their unique offerings, and will assist buyers for restaurants, cafés and caterers in sourcing and purchasing suitable fresh produce and processed foods and beverages from businesses across Peel.

The guide will list producers of consumer-ready food or beverage items located in the Peel region (Mandurah, Murray, Serpentine-Jarrahdale, Waroona, Boddington).

Each producer included will receive a spread in the digital publication featuring information on their product range, company story and sales, and giving contact information.

The guide will include information about a broad array of foods and beverages, including fruits, vegetables, animal proteins, dairy products and value-added goods.

It is the first professional service directory for food and beverage producers in WA’s Peel region.

An initiative of the Peel Development Commission, in partnership with Western Australian Department of Primary Industry, Resources and Development (WA DPIRD), the guide will be produced by Mandurah-based marketing agency Ready Aim Fire and released in 2021.

Part of the WA DPIRD’s Food Industry Innovation Project, the guide has been funded by Royalties for Regions, the Food Industry Innovation Project, the aim of which is to support the growth of premium and value-added food and beverage businesses.

Inclusion in this professional service directory will enable local agrifood businesses to showcase their offerings to a wider audience of prospective buyers and consumers.
