NT DPIR’s laboratory services for researchers extend across the Territory; they include:
- Berrimah Veterinary Laboratory , which provides laboratory services, a range of tests, and accreditation;
- Entomology, which provides entomological services and information including an insect database, advice on citrus huanglongbing (yellow dragon disease) and mango pests, and entomology-related videos;
- Plant pathology, which offers plant pathology services, plant pest reporting facilities, sample diagnosis and a herbarium; and
- Water laboratories: DPIR operates three water labs – one specialising in water chemistry; the others in water microbiology.
