TGI’s FoodSwitch data-technology platform aims to encourage stakeholders to improve the food environment while empowering consumers to make healthier food choices. The FoodSwitch app provides simple health information on a scanned product and suggests healthier alternatives to ‘switch’ to. Its database and coverage is expanding continually.

The FoodSwitch program is working with the CRC to improve healthy food procurement and community health outcomes in the Liverpool area, with plans to expand these services across Australia in coming years.
