Namoi Unlimited is a Joint Organisation of the NSW regional councils of Gunnedah Shire, Gwydir Shire Council, Liverpool Plains, Tamworth and Walcha. Member councils collaborate, plan, set priorities and deliver important projects across north-western NSW, building on the unique and diverse economic, cultural and natural qualities of each region. After extensive social and economic research, Namoi Unlimited set Strategic Regional Priorities based around identified ‘growth factors’ that include understanding commodity market cycles; maximising innovation in agricultural production; attracting international investment; engaging the Namoi in global markets; and leveraging regional and brand marketing to encourage more people to live and work in the region.
