An evokeAG. 2024 sponsor, Future Food Systems manned a Hospitality Suite at the event with cluster and value-adding partners FAN, the Turbine Precinct and WA-based producer Great Southern Truffles – attracting more than 300 visitors over the two days of evokeAG..

The For Food’s Sake Summit included a well-attended conference at Murdoch University on Thursday 22 February, followed by a Gala Dinner at Elizabeth Quay’s new 6HEAD Perth restaurant on the Thursday evening. On Friday 23 February two busloads of guests took an out-of-town excursion to the new Food Innovation Precinct Western Australia (FIPWA) for the formal opening of its state-of-the-art Sustainable Innovative Food Technologies (SIFT) facility; with a few dozen of us staying on for on a delicious brewery lunch and a fascinating tour of FFS industry partner Melville Park. where Murdoch University staff, researchers and PhD students are conducting literally groundbreaking trials exploring the microbiomes of three popular horticulture crops.
