Mon 23 October 2023, 11am-12 noon AEDT

This free, interactive webinar hosted by leading Australian horticulture industry research body Hort Innovation aims to bring growers, packers and fresh-food retailers together with industry bodies and government agencies to unpack recent consumer insights into sustainability in fresh-food production, Australia’s global position in this area, and the implications for our horticulture sector.

Expect an information-packed 60-minute session, in which experts from Nielsen and Fiftyfive5 provide updates gleaned from multiple agrifood industry sources in two Hort Innovation-funded consumer insights projects: Consumer behavioural data program (MT21004) and Consumer usage and attitude tracking 2022/23 (MT21202).

Webinar agenda

Guests of the webinar will learn about these projects’ findings on:

  • the importance of sustainability to food production, now and into the future;
  • Australia’s comparative performance on the global stage with respect to sustainable production, packaging and distribution of fruit, vegetables and tree nuts; and
