The project will develop a fundamental understanding of the relationship between process parameters influencing the properties of wheat grains in grain dryers during the manufacturing process of Weetbix. The outcomes will assist Sanitarium Health Food Company to optimise their operation and improve product quality by enabling a better control of the drying process and potentially improving the design of grain dryers.
