The Commonwealth’s Food and Agribusiness Growth Centre, trading as Food Innovation Australia Ltd (FIAL), invites Australian food and beverage suppliers to attend an exclusive online business matching event with key buyers from the United Kingdom.
The UK Business Matching and Freight Consolidation: Virtual Meet the Buyer event in late October is export-ready Australian food product suppliers’ opportunity to meet online, one-to-one, with UK buyers along the supply chain – from importers and distributors to major supermarket chains.
The event will be hosted by FIAL, in collaboration with Austrade.
As part of the registration fee, FIAL will streamline the passage of supplier product samples of up to 2kg to potential buyers as consolidated airfreight. The samples will be delivered to the UK once supplier-buyer meetings are complete.
Suppliers are responsible for paying import fees and arranging the appropriate certification

The UK Business Matching and Freight Consolidation: Virtual Meet the Buyer webinar is scheduled to take place on Thursday 28 October 2021, at times to be decided.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit expressions of interest (EOIs) by 1 October 2021. Those whose EOIs attract buyer interest from one or more UK buyers will be contacted by mid-October and 20-minute one-on-one sessions will be arranged for mutually convenient timeslots on 28 October.
