Associate Professor Oula Ghannoum graduated with a BSc (Honours) in Plant Biochemistry (UNSW, 1993) and obtained her PhD in Plant Physiology (WSU, 1998). She has >20 years of research experience in plant physiology and biochemistry. In 2001, Oula was awarded the prestigious ARC Postdoctoral Fellowship to work at RSBS, ANU, and in 2007, she was awarded an Independent Postdoctoral Fellowship at WSU. In 2010, Oula was appointed Senior Researcher at the Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment (HIE). She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2016.
