Creating Value in the Food and Manufacturing Processing Sector

Wed 27 July 2022, 5-7pm AEST

Food Innovation Australia estimates a $500-million-dollar opportunity in the ACT’s agrifood sector, with manufacturing and processing a part of this.

This two-hour seminar, hosted by the Canberra Region Food Collaborative, will examine what government and industry can do to realise this opportunity, creating greater value for consumers and helping food businesses while shoring up local food security, wellbeing and sustainability objectives.

Suitable for any food or beverage manufacturer, confectioner, baker, regional processor or supplier of ingredients into Canberra, the seminar is an opportunity to network with people from other food enterprises, share experiences and concerns, and help RDA ACT and government help you do business more easily in the Canberra region.

Key themes to be addressed include:

  • What is needed and possible in the Canberra region?
  • In what ways can we support food processing and manufacturing in the region?

Light refreshments will be provided.

The Creating Value in the Food Manufacturing and Processing Sector seminar is an initiative of the Capital Region Food Collaborative by Regional Development Australia ACT.
