5th Northern Australia Food Futures Conference

Mon 22-Thu 25 May 2023, 9am-5pm daily (NT time)

Organised by NT Farmers Association and backed by the Northern Territory Government, the biennial Northern Australia Food Futures Conference (NAFFC) aims to be a game-changing gathering for Australia’s northern regions.

The event, now in its fifth iteration, was established to promote the development of agriculture, horticulture, forestry and fodder across northern Australia and to raise the region’s profile at a national level. The Conference plays a significant role in showcasing opportunities in the nation’s north, influencing policy creation and attracting investment to the region.

NAFFC’s conference component includes keynote speeches, targeted conversations, workshops and panel discussions on the future of agriculture across the Northern Territory and northerly regions of Western Australia and Queensland.

The accompanying exhibition features products and innovations of relevance to agriproducers in Australia’s north from stakeholders across the ag sector and related industries.

The 2023 conference is presented by the NT Farmers in partnership with the Ord River District Co-operative Ltd (OrdCo)., an independent agricultural co-operative based in the Ord River Irrigation Area (ORIA) at Kununurra, Western Australia.
