Driving impact through storytelling

Over the past few months, while producing articles for the #ThinkingFutureSystems series, I’ve been reflecting on the importance of effective communication and storytelling and the impact they have in shaping the collaborative process.
In my opinion, collaboration is never just about working side by side. It thrives when we align different perspectives, combine diverse strengths and build something greater than the sum of its parts. In this latest piece, I look at why communication and storytelling are essential to this process. Clear communication creates trust and belonging, while storytelling provides the purpose and inspiration that turn projects into shared achievements. Together, they give collaboration its power to create impact and enduring legacies.

Earlier this month, team FFS travelled to Coffs Harbour for ‘Gather & Grow’ and to meet with several industry stakeholders, building upon the foundations from the CALL project. From macadamias to seafood, farms to bakeries, the trip celebrated the region’s collaboration, innovation and potential, highlighting the people and projects shaping Coffs’ food future.
