High-end eateries innovate in COVID-19 shutdown

Restaurants across Australia are struggling to survive in the face of social isolation and shutdowns that could last for months and have repercussions extending for far longer. Many are attempting to counter the negative economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic by introducing new consumer options including takeaway, home delivery and food boxes.

One of these is Melbourne’s Attica restaurant, which just launched its Attica at Home service, allowing loyal customers to avail themselves of a staff-delivered three-course taste of the fine-dinery’s Indigenous-ingredients-laced degustation menu. Or they can join its takeaway queue, complete with social distancing.
